Snackgarden wins Second Place Design Value Award at DMI
The Snackgarden is a plate designed by IPD students to encourage school children to try healthy foods. It won Second Place in the 2018 Design Value Awards at the Design Management Institute’s Design Leadership Conference in Boston.
Snackgarden is a collaboration between IPD and Rebel Ventures. It has been developed in response to research that shows that developing a preference for a food can often require tasting that food up to ten times. Snackgardein is used in Philadelphia public schools to provide a fun, engaging experience where school children can try new foods.
