The project objective was to research, design, and produce a functioning watering device that carries and pours a minimum of 1/2 gallon of water. This shape satisfies the human factors challenge of varied weight distribution during watering. The watering can was produced using new prototyping processes including CNC routing of patterns and vacuum layup of composite materials with carbon fiber. The final result is an elegant, comfortable to use form produced using advanced, high tech materials.
