Kids are surrounded by plastic objects. Injection molding, one of the most commonly used manufacturing processes, is used to make most of these objects. Finished products can be anything from a toy car to a Lego to a toothbrush. But kids don’t know anything about where their stuff came from and how it has been made. MakerBites aims to inspire the next generation of makers by designing kits for children to learn about manufacturing processes. MakerBites is an injection molding kit that children can use to make their own edible objects while learning about manufacturing and chemistry. MakerBites makes making fun.
